Autism Association of WA 2026 Annual Report
“
It is a very special day for all children and adults with Autism I am glad to have been a part of the Autism Association of Western Australia, and I would gladly be able to help all Autistic people for the future.
“
There is no one ‘right’ way to connect or thrive. When we take the time to listen, understand and adapt, we create spaces where people feel safe to be themselves.
“
Finally at age 52 I now know who I am and happy to be part of the Autism community.

This Autism Month I will be celebrating the little wins of finally getting to fully understand my daughter’s amazing brain after a hard 2-year battle for answers! We as a family will be making sure to encourage, support and share just how amazing and inspiring she is and continuing to further our education on the best ways to help her grow and thrive as a family.
“
For me, Autism Month is the broader recognition and celebration of the strengths of individuals on the spectrum and this month, I am celebrating every child that deserves to be valued, appreciated and understood; my life is better with you in it.
