We continued our work in 5 regional areas of East Java, Indonesia.

This year marked the 11 th anniversary working with East Java to support services for children with Autism in Sidoarjo, Surabaya, Malang, Gresik and Blitar. This work is part of the Sister State relationship with Western Australia. Due to COVID-19, staff did not travel to East Java this year but provided support through online workshops, webinars, and training resources. In October, the Autism Association also hosted a delegation of senior leaders from the largest Autism support provider in Singapore, the Autism Resource Centre (ARC). The focus of this visit was to learn more about our Community Living program. After being postponed due to COVID-19, we will host the Asia Pacific Autism Conference (APAC) in Perth in November 2025. This will be a great event for individuals, families, academics, clinicians, teachers, allied health professionals and government officials.
