2021 Annual Report

In Conclusion The last 12 months has seen expansion across all of our services and advocacy on behalf of people with Autism and their families. We remain strongly committed to every person with Autism having a good life and are working actively to ensure this happens.

The year ahead does have difficulties with workforce shortages across the State which is contributed to by COVID-19. We will work hard to overcome these difficulties to ensure we can support all who need our support. We look forward to working with communities, schools, and employers in the coming year to create opportunities for people with Autism and to celebrate the strengths of each person and what makes them unique. I would like to acknowledge and thank the contribution of our many stakeholders, including the State Government through Disability Services Department of Communities. I would also like to thank Commonwealth agencies, in particular the Department of Social Services, and the Department of Education, Skills and Employment. I would also like to thank the Stan Perron Foundation and the Telethon Trust for their invaluable support of a number of our programs throughout the year.
